A CHILDREN’S hospice is to host a show for up-and-coming comedians.
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice will put on the show at the Consort Hotel in Rotherham on Thursday, October 13.
Professional comedians will offer training before the big day, where Paul Shane, star of Hi de Hi, will be on the judging panel.
Fifteen amateur stand-up comedians will get three training sessions before their performance in front of a live audience..
Sarah Champion, chief executive of Bluebell Hospice, said: “This gives up-and-coming comedians the opportunity to show their talent and raise money for charity.”
The training sessions, run by Laughology Ltd, will be held on Tuesday September 27, Tuesday October 4 and Thursday October 13.
