Championship transfer gossip: Sheffield Wednesday's Westwood linked with Premier League switch and Wilder says Sheffield United bid for Waghorn is still alive
Here's all the latest rumours from around the Championship...
Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood is being monitored by a number of clubs including Premier League side Southampton and Scottish champions Celtic, according to the Daily Mail.
Westwood's disagreement with boss Jos Luhukay over a supposed pre-season knee injury seems to have stirred up the rumours, with the Mail suggesting that West Brom and Stoke City could also be keeping an eye on how things unfold at Hillsborough.
Meanwhile it looks like the Owls could miss out on signing Jack Baldwin from Peterborough, with the Sunderland Echo reporting that the 25-year-old defender has signed personal terms with the Black Cats.
Sheffield United's pursuit of Martyn Waghorn has taken another U-turn after Chris Wilder said a deal for the striker is still alive despite the Blades interest in an alternative target, thought to be David Nugent.
Derby County are still favourites to sign Waghorn, but Wilder suggested that the structure of United's bid might be more appealing to Ipswich than the increased fee the Rams have on the table.
