BARNSLEY and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce played host to a delegation from one of its new Gold members – an Indian company looking to forge links with members in the manufacturing, engineering and industrial sectors.

Representatives of Barry-Wehmiller International Resources visited Rotherham and met with Andrew Denniff, chamber executive director, and Dominic Beck, policy and representation adviser.

A spokesman said: “The delegation visited manufacturers from across the region and also met law firm Hill Dickinson, during a day of engagements and meetings aimed at establishing a common sense of partnership working, showing how, in the 21st century, Chambers must engage with business internationally and not just within the confines of the regional vicinity.
