Chairman welcomes latest wave of British citizens
DONCASTER'S latest wave of British citizens celebrated their new status at an official ceremony with the chairman of Doncaster Council.
Coun Tony Sockett donned his chain of office to deliver a speech to residents who have successfully applied for British nationality.
The new citizens were presented to him at a ceremony at Mansion House.
Citizenship ceremonies were introduced for the first time in 2004.
