It may be of interest to know that the American armaments manufacturer Lockheed Martin is conducting the current population census.
The census of 10 years ago was also conducted by the same. It would seem that this function, that had previously been carried out by the Office of National Statistics, a government department, was given to a company that made the best bid.
I have been assured however, that the information gathered will be perfectly safe and secure. But is it?
Was anyone consulted about the transfer of this task to a private company? Why is there no indication on the material sent out that Lockheed Martin is involved?
It has all been kept very quiet and that is one reason why we should be more than a little concerned.
