Former Jackson 5 star Jermaine Jackson has taken to Twitter to speak of his hopes for Sheffield Wednesday in the play-offs.

The singer took to social media after Chelsea won the Premier League - the team supported by his brother Jackie.

Jermaine, who started following the Owls in the 1980s, wrote: "Chelsea win the EPL, meaning I'll have to suffer @JackieJackson5 wearing more of #CFC tops/tracksuits.

"I do hope #SWFC get promoted this season. I can then look forward to the Owls beating Chelsea in the EPL. #WAWAW."

Following Wednesday's defeat to Hull City in the Championship play-off final last season, Jermaine praised the fans.

He wrote: "Tough result. But Sheffield Wednesday has the spirit to bounce back stronger next season. Incredible support!"
