Celebration with a gardening theme at Sheffield library

A celebration with a gardening theme is being lined up to mark World Libraries Day.

Talks and activities are taking place at Broomhill Library on Saturday from 10.30am to 4pm to mark the launch of its restoration project. The library building - Oriel House - has a garden designed by Percy Cane, an exponent of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Volunteers want to restore the garden to its original state.
