CCTV released of man wanted in connection with violence after Barnsley and Leeds match

Police have issued a CCTV picture of a man they are tracing after violence flared at a Barnsley v Leeds United football match.

Police have arrested eight men in connection with the disorder at Barnsley's Oakwell Stadium on Saturday, January 21. Six of these have been charged with alleged public order offences and one of whom has received a football banning order.

The other two men, who were arrested on suspicion of affray, remain on bail pending further enquiries.

Police believe the man pictured could hold useful information and would like him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch.
