The men are believed to have taken the lift to an upper floor where a disturbance broke out.

It was reported that the 19-year-old man opened his door to find out what was causing the noise and was then assaulted by two men.

Police have today released CCTV images of two men they would like to identify in connection with the attack.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Officers want to speak to anyone who may have information about the assault or recognise the men captured on CCTV.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 325 of December 2 2015.”
