Cash windfall for Sheffield homeless charity
The cash windfall will pay for the salary for a volunteer co-ordinator who will manage the charity’s volunteer programme which offers work and skills opportunities to those living on the streets.
The programme will oversee volunteers working in the charity’s kitchen, stores and lounge.

Hide AdRoles are structured with set hours, breaks and duties to give volunteers experience of working under the conditions expected in employment. Volunteers also provide peer support to other homeless people.
Tim Renshaw, chief executive of Sheffield Cathedral Archer Project, said: “We are delighted to receive a grant from the Lloyds Bank Foundation, which will help fund our successful volunteer programme,
“This grant will impact significantly on our charity. Volunteers provide hours of work equivalent to three full time members of staff.”
