Cash boost good news for stray dogs at centre

Have your say

A centre that rehomes stray and abandoned dogs has scooped £15,000 to improve its facilities.

South Yorkshire rehoming centre Rain Rescue, which is based on Samson Street in Sheffield, won the money from Pedigree Brighter Futures.

It is now set to carry out ‘huge improvements’.

Pedigree Brighter Futures helps rescue centres by providing grants and food and also works to raise awareness of the UK’s problem of dog abandonment.
