Carry the can for city charity

HOMELESSNESS charity Emmaus Sheffield is hoping city business will carry the can and help raise some extra cash.

The charity that gives support and a place to live to homeless people wants pubs, clubs and other organisations to donate aluminium drinks cans, which can then be recycled for cash.

“It was one of our own Companions who spotted the potential for raising more money from recycling,” said Emmaus community manager Graham Bostock.

“We already have one club giving us their cans but if more organisations were to do the same it could prove a lucrative fundraiser for us and we will even collect the cans ourselves to make it easier for our supporters.”

Call Graham on 0114 2720677 if you can help.
