Bhangra beats will mix with a traditional fairground at the return of Darnall Carnival tomorrow.
The event is also to include circus workshops, crafts and food stalls.
High Hazels Park will host the fun-packed carnival from noon until 5pm.
Nazia Fazil, of the Darnall Forum, has been funded by British Land to help the Friends of High Hazel Park organise the carnival.
She said: “We organised a similar event in 2012 but it was more about information and advice, and showery weather put a dampener on some of the more fun things we tried to do. This year there are going to be some information stalls, but the 2013 carnival will really be a chance to have fun.
“The Friends of High Hazels Park are dedicated to getting local people to come and enjoy their park – it’s a wonderful place to go for fresh air.”
Funding grants from Awards For All, Sheffield Town Trust, JG Graves Charitable Trust and the Darnall Area Trust Fund have all helped to bring back the carnival after 15 months.
