A CARER from South Yorkshire has been nominated for a national award for her outstanding services.
Enis Evans, aged 68, is one of only 10 finalists nationally, and is in the running for the title of Caregiver of the Year.
She was put forward by her employer Home Instead Senior Care in recognition of her fantastic work.
Head of care at Home Instead Sarah Oldham said: “Enis was our very first caregiver. As she has a background in nursing, she is extremely knowledgable and passionate about helping others.
“Enis is thoughtful, humorous and loving and always goes above and beyond to cater for her clients’ needs.
“She has found a friend in each and every one of her clients and is truly passionate about providing them with the support they need to stay living independently in their own homes.”
Enis, from Doncaster, said: “I love my job! It is great to be able to help others for a living, and to be a finalist for this award really is the icing on the cake.”
