Caravan in grass blaze

A CARAVAN was destroyed and a shed badly damaged on Tuesday lunchtime after a fire at Dunsville, Doncaster.

It is believed the blaze was started by a discarded cigarette on some grassland and hedges next to a housing estate off St George’s Avenue before spreading to the caravan, which was unoccupied.

Fire crews from Thorne and Doncaster extinguished the blaze and cooled down two gas cylinders next to the caravan.
