The Nissan Micra was found burning in Chambers Lane, Grimesthorpe, at 9.25pm.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze.

Crews also dealt with grassland set alight off Wentworth Close, Monk Bretton and a fire started on scrubland off Rotherham Road, Cundy Cross, Barnsley.
