A car was torched in an arson attack in Sheffield in the early hours of this morning.

The vehicle was found burning in Hartley Brook Road, Shiregreen, at 4.10am.

Firefighters tackled the blaze.

Last night a Volvo estate was set alight in Redmires Road, Lodge Moor, Sheffield and a Volkswagen Passat was fired in St George's Road, Barnsley.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
