A car ploughed into a bus shelter in Sheffield during this morning's rush hour.

The silver Volkswagen Golf crashed into the shelter at the junction of Albert Road and Meersbrook Road, Meersbrook - destroying the shelter and damaging the front of the car.

Witnesses said nobody appeared to have been hurt in the crash.
