Car overturns and ends up on roof after smash outside Sheffield pub

A car has overturned and ended up on its roof after a major smash outside a Sheffield pub on one of the city’s busiest roads tonight.

Chesterfield Road has been closed at Woodseats following the incident earlier tonight.

Pictures from the scene show a silver car on its roof outside the The Chantrey Arms pub.

The road is understood to be closed in both directions and bus services are being diverted.

Earlier, eyewitnesses reported police, fire and ambulance vehicles at the scene.
