Car crashes into telegraph pole on snowy South Yorkshire road

Telephone wires have been left hanging down after a car crashed in wintry conditions in South Yorkshire.

Officers from Rotherham North neighbourhood police team were called to Wentworth Road after a Ford Ka crashed on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesman said it had informed British Telecom about the incident.
