Dogs of all shapes and sizes competed in 8 classes at the show, organised by the South Yorkshire charity, in the hopes of being crowned best in show.
Lauren Sanderson, deputy charity manager said: “We were delighted to be invited back to the Rising Sun again this year, the festival is one of the highlights of our fundraising calendar and each year it just gets better and better. It is always a pleasure to meet so many well behaved dogs and their owners.”
This year’s show raised £697, which will be put towards the charity’s running costs including veterinary bills from the costs of neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, flea and worming treatments as well as any additional medical needs of all the animals in their care.
In addition Rain Rescue supporter and doggy adopter Julie Grayson presented Sarah Knowles on the day with a cheque for £360 raised in a sponsored climb and abseil over the top of the O2 Arena in London.
