Mourners hugged and tears were shed as they paid their respects to Aseel.

Placed in the middle of the flowers and candles was a photograph of a smiling young man, dressed in a suit and tie, with the words 'RIP ASEEL - NEVER FORGOTTEN'.

Police were back at the scene tonight blocking off both ends of the street so mourners could pay their respects.

Aseel, aged 23, had just arrived at his twin sister's engagement party when he was shot.

He was rushed to the Northern General Hospital but died from his injuries.

Detectives investigating the murder have made four arrests so far.
