Can you trace Doncaster van thief? There's a £2,000 reward if you can

An electrician has been left out of work after thieves stole his van containing thousands of pounds worth of tools and materials.

And he is now offering a £2,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the whereabouts of the vehicle.

Self-employed Anthony Judge, aged 29, left his Ford Transit parked up on Railway Court in Doncaster between 7.30am and 4.30pm on Monday when the theft took place.

This is the third time in a year Anthony has been targeted by thieves - twice last year his van was outside his home in Woodhouse in Sheffield when it was broken into and the contents stolen.

He said: “It’s my only vehicle so is a massive blow because until I can get another I can’t work.

“I’m currently working for National Rail building the new sub station for the new HS2 rail link, I’ve been there about two weeks and usually leave my van outside.

“The van is important but so are the tools. I had about £1,500 worth of materials in there, cables and things like that, and about between £3,500 and £4,000 worth of tools.

“I’ve got my own company and I’m trying to get it set up properly but have been doing sub-contracting until I do, this has set me back.”

He added: “Last year my van was broken into twice outside my home and I had just got myself back on my feet and then this happens.

“Last time they thankfully didn’t take everything, they left some tools, but this time all I have got left is a tape measure and a screwdriver. The way I’m feeling at the moment I just want to strangle them.”

The white Ford van is valued at £2,500, registration T555 AMF, and is fitted with the full Transit Sport ST kit.
