Can you give Donut a loving new home?
Donut came into the RSPCA with patchy fur and a poorly tummy but after being nursed back to health she is now looking for a loving new home.
Donut arrived at the RSPCA after concerns were raised for her welfare and the dedicated team at the RSPCA have nursed her back to health.
Hayley Crookes of the Sheffield branch of the RSPCA said: “This pretty girl was brought to us by RSPCA Officers after concerns arose for her welfare.
“Since the day this gorgeous girl arrived with us, she has always been super sweet and friendly.
“She came to us suffering with both a tummy upset and her fur was really patchy and bare around her back end.
“With some good parasite treatment, her fur and skin improved quickly and our vet put her on some medication for her tummy to help her to feel better.
“It has taken a good few months to get her fit and well again but she`s very nearly there!
“Donut loves attention and she loves to spend time with her human friends, she enjoys a gentle groom and the occasional bit of toy play but she`s always in the mood for a chat and a lovely fuss.”
Staff at the animal charity are now appealing for someone to come forward and give Donut a fresh start in life.
Hayley added: “She`s a total sweetie! We are looking for a home for Donut where any children are ideally of secondary school age although she may be happy living with slightly younger children, who are used to being around cats.
“Although her tummy is much better than previously, she is still not quite 100% but our vet thinks this may be due to stress. We really need to see how she gets on in a new home, she currently is on a special diet and daily medication to help with this.
“We would look to put her out into a home on a foster basis initially whilst she settles in. This sweet lady has had a really rough time and she`s such a deserving girl. Could you give her the chance of an amazing new life?”
