Callous fly-tippers blight Sheffield playing fields
This was the scene on a Sheffield estate today after callous fly-tippers dumped rubbish on its playing fields.
Officers from the Manor and Arbourthorne team on routine foot patrol came across the rubbish on the fields behind Saxonlea Avenue in Castlebeck.
The officers added the rubbish would be removed and the perpetrators sought out.
A police spokesperson said: "This is not acceptable and we will do everything in our power to prosecute anyone found fly tipping.
