The Titans forward, who’s from Mansfield, played more than 80 games for Nottingham before moving to Rotherham and can’t wait to get stuck into his former teammates.

Calladine has bagged five tries in the last three games and is hoping to score against his old club as the Titans look to stay in the Championship.

“I don’t think I can take any credit for the tries I’ve scored. I’ve just got on the back of forward drives and I’ve also run in from a break,” he said.

“I’m looking forward so much to the match, which is winnable. I’ve spoken to a couple of the Nottingham lads and the fact that the coach, Martin Haag, is leaving at the end of the season has been a big shock.

“This is a good time to be playing them because if we win that’ll put a gap between ourselves, Ealing and Moseley. We’ve a job to do. We’re optimistic because we didn’t look like a side that was third from bottom when we beat Bedford.

“I’m really enjoying the coaching of Justin Burnell who knows the Championship inside out. He also knows how a game-plan should be implemented.”
