Kind hearted cabin crew from Thomson Airways and members of the airport staff baked up their best goods and sold them to generous passengers who were heading off on their holidays.

Ellie Naylor, environment and community officer for Doncaster Sheffield Airport, said: “We were thrilled by the amount of cakes, buns and slices whipped up by the team.

People gave their time to bake and made some really delicious treats and helped us to raise £300 for The Children’s Hospital Charity.

“Our passengers were very generous.”
