A SHEFFIELD air cadet looped the loop in celebration - after her success in a running contest.
Cadet Danni Bosworth got off to a flying start in a running competition - and was then selected for a team representing the North of England, finishing seventh in a nationwide event.
The teenager, of 366 Air Cadets, based at Bailey Barracks, Greenhill, came third in a regional cross country running contest in January, before she went on to represent South and West Yorkshire competing against runners from across the north.
The national finals were held at RAF Cranwell, Lincolnshire, where she was one of 25 girls competing.
Mike Hiley, 366 Squadron training officer, said: “This is an amazing achievement and something she should be immensely proud of.”
As a reward for her efforts, Danni got the chance to experience aerobatics in a tutor aircraft, from RAF Church Fenton, near York. She had a 30 minute flight doing loops and barrel rolls high above the clouds.
