A NEW Citizen’s Advice Bureau is being launched in Sheffield, formed by the merger of three advice centres.

Sheaf Citizens Advice Bureau is being launched officially next Tuesday, July 10. It brings together the former Castle Advice Service, Sharrow Citizens Advice Bureau and Woodseats Advice Centre.

The bureau will initially offer services from the offices at 207 Duke Street, previously Castle Advice, and 416 London Road, previously Sharrow CAB.

The service in Woodseats will be available from Woodseats Library. Telephone advice will also be available and there are plans for more outreach work. The staff and volunteers already offer advice at GP surgeries, hospitals, children’s centres and community centres.
