Busy South Yorkshire road closed in both directions due to 'police incident'

A busy Doncaster road has been closed in both directions this evening due to a 'police incident'.

Travel South Yorkshire tweeted that Wickett Hern Road in Armthorpe has been closed since about 9pm.

Bus services were being diverted down Cow House Lane in both directions.

South Yorkshire Police have been made aware of the incident and we are awaiting a reply.
