A busy Sheffield city centre roundabout was closed by police earlier this evening, as they were concerned for a man’s safety on Park Square bridge.

Traffic from Park Square roundabout is being diverted via Sheffield train station as police remain on the scene.

Trams are currently still stopped on Park Square bridge due to the safety of a man who is on the bridge.

South Yorkshire Police have confirmed that traffic diversions will soon be removed as the road is set to be reopened by police shortly.
