Businesses in Sheffield are being asked to have their say about traffic in the city centre.
The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry is asking for its members to share their views with Sheffield Council as the local authority looks to update its strategy for dealing with city centre traffic.
A spokesman for the chamber said firms had a ‘one-off opportunity’ to give their opinions.
“There are obviously many issues to balance but it is important we try and achieve the optimum outcome for business and the city,” he said.
“The council is aware that there are some concerns amongst businesses regarding traffic restrictions (for example, one way streets, or bus gates) in the city centre and would like a better understanding of those concerns.”
Businesses are being asked to highlight areas where they fell traffic restrictions are hindering firms based in the city centre and how this is happening.
