Buses involved in collision on main road through Sheffield city centre

Two buses were involved in a collision on a busy road in Sheffield city centre this morning.

A Stagecoach double decker and a single decker operated by First were involved in a smash on Arundel Gate.

The out-of-city carriageway was temporarily blocked until the damaged vehicles were moved from the road and the debris was cleared away.

Buses were diverted via the bus station in the aftermath of the smash.

It has not been disclosed whether anyone was injured in the incident.

Traffic is now flowing normally.
