Buses are being diverted after a lorry hit a bridge in Rotherham.

The incident happened a short time ago on Rotherham Road in Parkgate when a large goods vehicle hit a road bridge.

The lorry lost part of its roof and traffic in the area is severely disrupted.

Bus services 22a, 22c, 141 and 142 are being diverted via Greasbrough and Barbot Hall roads in both directions, with the closures expected to stay in place until at least 7pm.
