Bus services affected by snow in Sheffield

Bus services across Sheffield are affected by snow this morning, with a number of roads impassable.

Bus company Stagecoach said its 57 service from Sheffield to Stocksbridge at 6.01am will not be operating and First South Yorkshire has issued a list of its affected services.

Its 25 service will be terminating at Lowedges and its 83a service is terminating at Hunters Bar because of the conditions in Fulwood.

Bus company First has issued a list of its services affected by the snow.

Service 1a - Not using Blackstock Road. Buses are trying to operate via Leighton Road.

Service 8/8a - Unable to serve local roads in Basegreen and Birley estates. Using Mansfield Road and Birley Moor Road direct between Intake and Sheffield Road.

Service 18 - Not able to use Scarsdale Road. Buses will operate direct along Norton Lees Lane between Derbyshire Lane and Norton Lees not serving Woodseats.

Service 20 - Buses will terminate at Norton Water Tower. Journeys starting at Olive Grove will use Leighton Road, Raeburn Road and Constable Road.

Service 35 - Not serving local roads in Fox Hill or Grenoside. Will use Halifax Road direct to/from Deerlands Avenue.

Service 51 - Not serving Charnock estate. Buses terminating Gleadless Townend. Not serving Redmires or Lodge Moor - terminating at Crosspool.

Service 52a - Not using Heavygate Avenue towards City. Buses will use Heavygate Road in both directions.

Service 75/76 - Not using Gregg House Road. Buses operating via Sicey Avenue and Hartley Brook Road.

Service 82 - Unable to serve Liberty Hill (Hall Park Head). Buses to operate direct to Nethergate via Stannington Road and Oldfield Road.

Service 83 - Not using Greystones Road; using Ecclesall Road and Ringinglow Road.

Service 85 - Sticking to main roads only - using Halifax Road. Not serving Fox Hill Road or Grenoside village.

Service 95 - Due to a bus stuck at Tinker Lane, and with Heavygate Avenue impassable, buses are to operate to/from Hillsborough Interchange from South Road.

Service 120 - Operating to Ranmoor turning only. Not serving Nether Green or Fulwood.
