Bus lanes to be extended
BUS lane restrictions are to be extended on Ecclesall Road from next week following a successful trial in Abbeydale Road.
The new times - which see the restriction begin half an hour earlier, running from 7.30 to 9.30am, and from 4 until 6.30pm - will begin on Monday.
Plans are also being drawn up to amend the lanes on Manchester Road, Fulwood Road, Glossop Road, Crookes Road and also in Chesterfield before April 2008, with the remaining corridors changed in a rolling programme.
