Motorists are urged to avoid the area while repairs are carried out.

A Yorkshire Water spokesman said: “A burst to a water pipe located on the Brocco Bank junction with Rossington Road occurred at around 3.30am this morning.

“Our technicians have now located the burst and water supplies have been restored to residents.

“We would like to apologise for an inconvenience caused and advise motorists to avoid the area if possible as road works and repairs are ongoing.
