The funeral of tragic toddler Libby-Jayne Hornsby, who died after a house fire, will take place next Friday.
The two-year-old will be buried in St Peter’s churchyard in Conisbrough.
Doncaster Coroner Nicola Mundy yesterday adjourned the inquest into the toddler’s death on Thursday, October 17, and granted a burial order.
Det Con Andy Gray said Libby-Jayne’s death was being treated as a ‘tragic accident’ and there would be no criminal proceedings.
The inquest heard fire and police services were called to the two-bedroom terrace in Don Street and, despite the efforts of medical teams at Rotherham District General Hospital, Libby-Jayne was pronounced dead at 8.30pm.
The inquest will be concluded at a later date.
