Burglary prompts police patrols in Sheffield suburb
Police patrols are being carried out in a Sheffield suburb this morning following a burglary.
A house in Woodlands Avenue, Beighton, was broken into on Tuesday after a door was forced to gain entry.
Officers are also investigating an attempted burglary in Thornbridge Crescent, Birley, where the offender tried to damage the door lock to get into the house.
