Burglars have been active in Sheffield over recent days, with cash, jewellery, mountain bikes and angling equipment among the items stolen.

Last night jewellery was stolen from Blacka Moor Road, Dore, after a door was forced open to gain entry.

That afternoon, jewellery was also stolen from a house on St Andrew's Road, Nether Edge and a mountain bike and angling equipment were taken during two raids on Haslam Crescent, Lowedges.

Yesterday morning a cash and purse were taken during a burglary on Ashland Road, Nether Edge and overnight on Sunday into Monday DVD equipment was stolen from a property on Batemoor Road, Batemoor.
