Burglars hit charity shop

Have your say

STAFF at a Sheffield charity shop arrived at work after the bank holiday break to find the premises had been broken into.

Shocked volunteers who work at Annie’s Orphans shop, in Richmond Road, Stradbroke, discovered that heartless thieves had scrambled trough thick brambles to get to the rear of the premises.

The burglars then removed a kitchen window and made their way through to the shop area.

Items donated to the charity, set-up earlier this year to help widows and children abroad, were taken including jewellery and a small amount of cash.
