Burglars caught breaking into Sheffield home in middle of the night

Three burglars were caught breaking into a house in Sheffield in the middle of the night.

The owner of the property in Vicarage Crescent, Grenoside, heard the crooks trying to force open their front door at 1.20am.

South Yorkshire Police said the occupant of the house shouted at the burglars from a bedroom window and they fled.
