Burglar stole £1,000 in loose coins from Sheffield house
A burglar escaped with £1,000 in loose coins kept in a jar in a house in Sheffield.
The crook struck at a house on Richmond Hill Road, Stradbroke, between 3pm on Monday and 3.10am on Tuesday.
South Yorkshire Police said a window at the rear of the house was smashed by the burglar to gain entry.
