Buffaloes roam to record
The charity fundraisers, formed in 1997, have raised thousands of pounds for good causes in the last decade.
Their most recent donation helped to buy a 3,500 baby monitor for Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Hide AdGroup secretary Wally Straw, who stands down from his post later this year, said: “We had 150 people turn up to our 10th anniversary celebration, which was nice.
“Over the past 10 years the lodge has done many things, and raised an untold amount of money for good causes. There’s always something different coming up.
“We’ve had race nights, raffles and projects such as supplying nebulisers to people. Two brothers have even jumped out of an aeroplane to raise funds.
“We all have our different reasons for joining the Buffs but the main one, I believe, is the desire to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves.”

Hide AdHe said the group did not look for rewards but wanted people to know it was there and would help a good cause where possible.
The Lodge meets every Monday night at 7.30pm at the Askern Spa Central Club on Moss Road. It currently has 18 members.
