Bring back the Romans

Fraser Road, Millhouses runs from Archer Road up towards Woodseats and at hundred-yard intervals, opposite pairs of small 'islands', made of kerbstones, project into the road so that there is a space for just one vehicle at a time to proceed and acting as a speed control. (I believe these are called chicanes).

At the bottom end of Fraser Road one of these chicanes has been damaged, presumably having been struck by a vehicle and Amey came along to place a couple of their yellow fence panels upright over it.

Three months have now passed since Amey’s visit, during which time the fence has fallen over, seemingly forgotten.

If repair of a roadway section of about one square metre takes three months-plus how long is the whole city contract going to take?

Anybody remember the address of the Roman road builders?
