A Sheffield murder victim has been named today as a young dad from the city.
Jordan Hill, named locally, was stabbed to death in an attack last night.
He was found injured in a flat in Southey Avenue, Longley, and was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.
Friends at the crime scene, which is cordoned off and under police guard this afternoon, said he was a young dad.
They said he was a Sheffield Wednesday fan.
Posting on Facebook, friend Ayesha Jessica described him as a 'top lad' and said he would be missed.
"Can't get over it," she said.
She added: "It's so heartbreaking leaving a kid with out a dad, and leaving a mother with out her son."
Writing on Facebook, Abraxa Nicholson added: "RIP Jordan Hill - what a terrible shame and waste of a life."
A murder probe is underway.
Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
