BREAKING: Man charged over alleged murder of Sheffield teen fatally stabbed in street - WITH VIDEO

Detectives investigating the death of a Sheffield teenager who was fatally stabbed in the street in the early hours of yesterday morning have this afternoon charged an 18-year-old man with his murder.

Lucas Bigley, 18, of Wadsley Lane, Sheffield, has been remanded in custody and will appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court tomorrow charged with the murder of Matthew Wilson.



Emergency services were called at around 2.35am yesterday following reports 19-year-old Matthew had been assaulted in Wadsley Lane, near to the junction with Braemoor Road.

Matthew, from Sheffield, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he was pronounced dead.
