Labour candidate Louise Haigh has won the seat of Sheffield Heeley - formerly held by Meg Munn.
Miss Haigh could now be one of the youngest MPs in the country, as she has been elected at the age of 27, although there are several younger candidates across the country.
The former ‘baby of the House’ was Pam Nash, who was elected in Scotland at the age of 25 in 2010.
Meg Munn, also Labour, stood down this year.
See The Star’s live blog for updates from reporter Ellen Beardmore, who was at the count.
