BREAKING: Four Sheffield murder suspects released on bail

Four people arrested by South Yorkshire Police in connection with the death of Aseel Al-Essaie have tonight been released on bail.

A 57-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders, a 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder have all now been bailed pending further enquiries.

A 30-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, was bailed earlier this week pending further enquiries.

The investigation into Mr Al-Essaie’s murder continues in earnest and officers remain keen to hear from anyone with information about the shooting, which happened at around 1.35pm on Saturday in Daniel Hill, Upperthorpe.

This includes anyone who may have seen a grey/silver Volkswagen Golf R (pictured) with the registration plate PJ10 OJU, a black Mercedes C class car with the registration plate LP66 RUH or a white Mercedes C class car with the registration plate NU15 PZF.
