BREAKING: Emergency services called out to Sheffield tram stop

The emergency services have been called out to an incident at a Sheffield tram stop this afternoon.

An ambulance was called to Fitzalan Square in Sheffield City Centre just after 1.30pm this afternoon.

A Supertram spokesman said: "Trams currently held in the city centre due to a passenger illness on a tram at Fitzalan Square. Awaiting an ambulance."

The incident led to disruption on the trams running through the city centre, until around 2.30pm.
